All in one enormous place

On the inexplicable appeal of Facebook:

Now seriously, I've seen there comments about "having all things together in the same place". Meaning some sort of portal-like place where the linkedin contacts, the flickr photos, etc., can be held together.

I couldn't avoid answering to the comments about facebook being a place where people could have all things together as "yeah, I know the place you mean. It is called 'THE WEB'"
