PHP programmers probably stupid

This week's LWN has an article on PHP remote file inclusion vulnerabilities. Having spent a few months this year attempting to force the undeniably square Wordpress source code into what was clearly a round hole, the Usenet post linked to in this comment was depressingly revealing:

PHP does seem to attract a certain class of users which is, shall we say, less than security-literate.
